The Georgium is an organic vineyard with a restaurant and guest rooms on the shores of Lake Längsee in Carinthia.

...and it all starts with the floor.
We are also a farm. The wine, the vegetables, the herbs and much of what eventually ends up on your plate are all produced with the same philosophy in mind: we want to leave behind fertile soil and produce food that reflects its origins. For us, "organic" is a matter of course, not just a marketing gimmick.

Roman Wastler sums it all up perfectly in his ‘farm-to-table’ cuisine:

Yes. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a family celebration or an anniversary – we’ll tailor your celebration to your needs and, on request, can provide an organic menu, wine pairings and accommodation for your guests.

Yes. The Georgium is particularly well-suited to intimate weddings for a small group of guests, offering a personal atmosphere, organic cuisine and excellent wines. Our beautiful outdoor dining area, with direct views of the lake, is perfect for receptions, champagne receptions and idyllic evenings. Our dining room also offers direct views of the lake and can seat 45 guests.

Yes. Companies can combine their Christmas party with an organic menu, wine pairing and overnight accommodation. We’re also an ideal venue because you’ll have exclusive use of the house, can enjoy it together and round off the evening here without having to drive home.

Yes. The entire Georgium can be booked exclusively for corporate off-sites, strategy days, workshops and team events. Depending on the event, we offer accommodation, organic cuisine, wine tastings and bespoke programmes for groups.

Our vineyard is ideal for groups of around 10 to 45 people.

We have spacious indoor and outdoor areas for workshops and meetings. We have deliberately chosen not to cater for traditional seminars requiring extensive technical equipment. The Georgium is particularly well-suited to creative workshops, strategy retreats and off-site meetings in an intimate setting.
